Butlers2go are based in Havant (near Portsmouth, Southampton & Chichester) we hire out good quality buff butlers to serve at events in and around the South of England, including Hampshire, West Sussex, East Sussex, Surrey, Kent and London, we will also travel futher if required and are constantly expanding to cover new areas. You will have a personal booking service from start to finish - looked after by one person only,Gill. If you have a special request we will be very happy to help.
Many people have asked how we came into existence. It happened strangely enough due to a wedding in the family. My son was getting married last summer and for his fiancees hen night we were planning to have drinks & nibbles at home with about 20 of her friends and family prior to going down town to Portsmouth for a bit of clubbing. As a surprise to spice up her special night my daughter booked a buff butler on the internet to come to the house and join the party.
When we were booking I noticed that we couldn’t get a local buff butler. We really needed one so we picked a butler company off the web, booked and paid in advance and waited…. and waited …and waited…..he never showed up, he didn’t even phone to say he was sick or delayed. We rang the company but there was no one answering the phone in the evenings. We were very disappointed!
Having had this experience I realised that we girls needed (reliable) buff butlers in the South of England too if we were not to have the very worst hen nights and birthday parties in the country! So I ditched the day job - teaching infants in Portsmouth, gathered a talented team of motivated people and started the quest to save all southern women from hellish hen night boredom! Guests at parties where our butlers have worked have all said what a wonderful and novel experience it was to be looked after by such polite, attractive and charming guys!
We are a limited company based in the South of England, we are registered at Companies House. We care about both our customers and our employees wellbeing. So we have public liability insurance, employee insurance, all our butlers are CRB checked and informed about health and safety issues that may arise in the party environment. We are contactable just about 24/7 - one small exception is Friday morning when I like to take my mum swimming out at Hayling Island and the mobile signal is virtually non existant over there.
